Kurz vor der IFA 2011 präsentiert Sony gleich zwei neue Kameras mit Translucent Mirror Technologie. Die beiden Modelle mit 24,3 Megapixel Auflösung und rasend schneller Serienbildfunktion (A77V mit bis zu 12 Bildern pro Sekunde) begeistern sowohl fortgeschrittene Amateure als auch ernsthafte Foto-Enthusiasten. Die überarbeitete Ergonomie, das perfektionierte Griffdesign und die neuen Bedienelemente der SLT-A77V und der SLT-A65V sorgen für ein intuitives Handling, insbesondere bei der Verwendung des elektronischen XGA OLED-Suchers. Die populäre DSLR-A700 bekommt mit der A77V eine würdige Nachfolgerin, die auch anspruchsvolle Aufgaben mühelos meistert.

Die A77V und die A65V zählen dank ihrer Ausstattung und der Vorteile des teildurchlässigen Spiegels zu den schnellsten Systemkameras ihrer Klasse. Die verbesserte Ergonomie beider Kameras, das komfortable Griff-Design und das neue taktile Tasten-Konzept sorgen dafür, dass der Fotograf das Auge auch während der Änderung seiner Einstellungen nicht vom hochauflösenden XGA OLED-Sucher abwenden muss. Eine Videofunktion und viele kreative Ausstattungsmerkmale komplettieren die beiden neuen Modelle und prädestinieren sie für Foto-Enthusiasten die eine besondere Vorliebe für Sport und Action-Fotografie haben.

Rennpferde ihrer Klasse: Ultraschnelle Serienbild-Performance

Die von Sony entwickelte und in beiden Modellen weiter optimierte Translucent Mirror Technologie erlaubt den weltweit schnellsten[1] Serienbildmodus von zwölf Bildern pro Sekunde mit kontinuierlichem Phasendetektions-AF. Damit ist die A77V das "Rennpferd" ihrer Klasse, dicht gefolgt von der A65V mit beeindruckenden zehn Bildern pro Sekunde bei ebenfalls voller Auflösung.
Dank des neuen 19-Punkt AF-Systems der A77V mit 11 Kreuzsensoren (A65V mit 15-Punkt AF-System und drei Kreuzsensoren) lassen sich schnell bewegliche Objekte besser und präziser verfolgen als jemals zuvor. Der Prädiktions-AF verfolgt das einmal anvisierte Objekt kontinuierlich und lässt sich auch durch ins Bild ragende Objekte nicht ablenken.

Die blitzschnelle Reaktion der Kamera wird durch den Einsatz eines neuen, elektronischen Verschlusses auf Profiniveau von sagenhaften 0,050 Sekunden reduziert.

Brillant: Überragende Bildqualität und einzigartiger Sucher

Die hohe Auflösung von 24,3 Megapixeln (effektiv) ist dem Exmor™ APS-C HD CMOS Sensor zu verdanken. Im Zusammenwirken mit dem verbesserten BIONZ™ Bildprozessor, dem integrierten Bildstabilisator und einem Empfindlichkeitsbereich von ISO 100 bis 16.000 gelingen Sportaufnahmen genauso perfekt, wie Langzeitaufnahmen bei ungünstigen Lichtverhältnissen oder Full HD Videos mit extrem geringem Bildrauschen. Bei der A77V ist die Empfindlichkeit sogar auf ISO 50 erweiterbar und im Multi-Bild-Rauschminimierungs-Modus lassen sich Werte bis ISO 25.600 erzielen. Der neue Hochleistungsverschluss bietet außerdem Belichtungszeiten zwischen 1/8000 Sekunden und 30 Sekunden sowie einen Langzeitbelichtungs-Modus (BULB).

Beide Kameras sind mit dem weltweit ersten elektronischen XGA OLED-Sucher[2] ausgestattet. Mit seiner sagenhaften Auflösung von 2.359.296 Punkten bietet der hochpräzise, helle und kontrastreiche Sucher eine 100% Bildfeldabdeckung, welche auch professionellen Ansprüchen gerecht wird. Die detaillierten Bildinformationen lassen sich im Sucher in fünf verschiedenen Modi darstellen. Den Effekt von Einstellungsänderungen wie Belichtung oder Weißabgleich kann der Fotograf im TruFinder™ in Echtzeit begutachten. Die präzise Scharfstellung erfolgt äußerst zuverlässig mit Hilfe einer Zoomfunktion.

Auf Knopfdruck lässt sich ein praktischer, digitaler 1,4 oder 2fach Telekonverter aktivieren. Er ermöglicht es dem Fotografen, in der Nachbearbeitung ein Bild ohne Ausschnitts-Vergrößerung zu verwirklichen, das immer noch mit mindestens 12 Megapixeln aufgezeichnet wird. Besonders praktisch: Die Kamera muss von der Bildgestaltung bis zur Bildkontrolle nicht vom Auge genommen werden - der kreative Fluss bleibt erhalten.

Selbstverständlich können Fotos und Videos auch mit Hilfe des 7,5 Zentimeter (3,0 Zoll) großen Xtra Fine LCD-Monitors exakt beurteilt und komponiert werden. Auch die Abbildung kleinster Details ist mit einer Auflösung von 921.600 Punkten und dank TruBlack™-Technologie außerordentlich scharf und kontrastreich. Dabei lässt sich der Monitor der A77V dank des neuen Drei-Wege-Schwenkmechanismus in jede gewünschte Position drehen. Die A65V ist mit einem Zwei-Wege-Mechanismus ausgestattet.

Keine Kompromisse beim Filmen: Full HD Video-Aufnahmen

Die Full HD Videofunktion mit Quick-AF beider Modelle wurde im Vergleich zu den bereits eingeführten SLT-Kameras deutlich verbessert. Der Phasendetektions-AF der A77V und der A65V sorgt für eine präzise Scharfstellung des Motivs während der Videoaufnahme und das sogar bei Bewegung.

Eine weitere Neuheit ist die 50p (progressive) Videoaufzeichnung, welche die neuesten Verbesserungen des AVCHD-Formats (Version 2.0) nutzt. Die 25p Einstellung erlaubt ausdrucksstarke und kunstvolle Aufnahmen. Die kreativen Möglichkeiten wurden außerdem durch die typischen Belichtungsfunktionen P/A/S/M und die manuelle Scharfeinstellung erweitert.
Das integrierte GPS-Modul beider Modelle steht nicht nur für Fotos, sondern auch für Videos zur Verfügung und komplettiert die Ausstattung.

Perfektioniert für Foto-Enthusiasten: SLT-A77V von Sony

Als würdige Nachfolgerin der populären DSLR-Kamera A700, setzt die A77V mit ihrer herausragenden Performance und der robusten Auslegung des Kameragehäuses neue Maßstäbe.

Sie bietet zwei Einstellräder für eine schnelle und intuitive Bedienung sowie eine LCD-Anzeige zur Kontrolle der Einstellungen auf der Oberseite des Gehäuses. Der aus einer Magnesiumlegierung bestehende Body ist ein Garant für äußerste Robustheit bei gleichzeitig geringem Gewicht. Auch die Bedienelemente sind widerstandsfähig konzipiert - sie wurden speziell abgedichtet, um Staub und Feuchtigkeit zu trotzen. Unterstrichen wird die Robustheit der A77V durch den neuen Verschluss, der für 150.000 Auslösevorgänge ausgelegt ist und Verschlusszeiten bis zu 1/8000 Sekunden bietet. Die Blitzsynchronzeit erreicht dabei 1/250 Sekunden, was für kreatives Fotografieren ein unverzichtbares Feature ist.

Rundum glücklich: Neues SAL-1650 DT Objektiv und Zubehör
Ebenso robust ist das neue Zubehör: Das Weitwinkel-Objektiv SAL-1650F28 und der Funktionshandgriff VG-C77AM (A77V).

Die Objektivpalette des A-Mount Systems wird durch das universelle, lichtstarke DT 16-50 Millimeter 2.8 SSM ergänzt. Mit seinem vielseitigen Zoombereich ist es perfekt für den täglichen Einsatz geeignet - egal ob Landschaftsaufnahmen oder Portraits. Das Objektiv ist ebenfalls gegen Staub und Feuchtigkeit geschützt und bietet einen dreifachen Zoombereich bei konstanter Blendenöffnung von F2,8. Die optische Qualität wird durch zwei asphärische Elemente sowie durch drei Linsenelemente aus hochwertigem ED-Glas gewährleistet. Ein integrierter SSM-Motor (Super Sonic Wave Motor) sorgt für einen, schnellen und leisen AF-Antrieb.

Als weiteres neues Zubehör ist der Funktionshandgriff VG-C77AM für die A77V erhältlich, er ist ebenfalls gegen Staub und Feuchtigkeit abgedichtet. Er fasst zwei InfoLITHIUM Akkus (NP-FM500H) und steigert so die Anzahl der möglichen Aufnahmen auf circa 1060 bei Nutzung des LCD-Monitors oder auf 940 bei Nutzung des Suchers.[3]

Das kompakte System-Blitzgerät HVL-F43AM eignet sich für alle A-Mount Kameras von Sony und rundet die Ausstattung ab. Es bietet die Leitzahl 43, die Möglichkeit indirekt zu blitzen, eine drahtlose Blitzfernsteuerung und vieles mehr.

Liebhaber kompakter und dennoch leistungsstarker Kameras werden von den beiden eleganten NEX-Modellen NEX-5N und NEX-7 begeistert sein. Auch Foto-Enthusiasten mit gehobenen Ansprüchen kommen voll und ganz auf ihre Kosten: Die beiden ultraschnellen Systemkameras SLT-A77V und A65V eignen sich optimal für die Jagd nach berauschenden Bildergebnissen. Beide Kameras "sehen" dank eines verbesserten und besonders lichtempfindlichen Bildsensors besser als je zuvor. Mit ihrem optimierten Bildprozessor "denken" und arbeiten sie zudem auch schneller. Sie stellen blitzschnell scharf, schießen bis zu zehn Bilder pro Sekunde, der Auslöser reagiert nach nur 0,02 Sekunden - damit sind die NEX-5N und NEX-7 die weltweit schnellsten digitalen Systemkameras mit Wechselobjektiv. Die Ergebnisse dieses Tunings können sich sehen lassen: Aufnahmen im Dämmerlicht gelingen wie nie zuvor, Farben und Kontraste wirken knackiger und das Motiv bleibt selbst bei Bewegungen scharf.

Mehr noch: Jeder Laie kann mit der NEX-5N und NEX-7 tolle Bildeffekte erzielen, ohne die Fotos am Computer nachzubearbeiten. Insgesamt verfügen die NEX-5N und NEX-7 über elf Bildeffekte und 15 Varianten, mit denen kreativ gespielt werden kann. Der HDR-Gemälde-Modus erstellt beispielsweise malerische Fotos, der Miniatureffekt schrumpft Landschaften zu Spielzeugmodellen. Zusätzlich sind auch Funktionen wie ein Schwenkpanorama-Modus integriert, der epische Breitbildaufnahmen erzeugt - auf Wunsch sogar in 3D. Alle Funktionen lassen sich intuitiv entdecken und nutzen, denn auch das Handling der Kameras ist ein Kinderspiel.

Die Schnellsten ihrer Klasse: SLT-A65V und A77V von Sony

Für alle, die noch ein bisschen mehr von einer Kamera erwarten, bietet Sony mit den SLT-Modellen A65V und A77V zwei echte Alternativen. Beide Modelle arbeiten ebenfalls mit Wechselobjektiven, bieten eine Auflösung von 24,3 Megapixel sowie zahlreiche Aufnahmemodi und Bildeffekte. Ihr eigentlicher Clou ist aber der teildurchlässige Spiegel: Er lässt einen Teil des Lichtes für die Bildaufnahme durch und muss dazu nicht mehr, wie bei klassischen Spiegelreflexkameras, wegklappen. So wird nicht nur Zeit gespart und die SLT-Kameras deutlich schneller, sondern der Spiegel benötigt auch weniger Platz. Dadurch werden die Kameras außerdem kleiner und leichter als die schweren Apparate der Profis. Im Grunde funktionieren also beide Modelle wie eine Spiegelreflexkamera, nur moderner und schneller.

Dank dieser Innovation dürfen die A65V und A77V als die Sportwagen unter den Systemkameras bezeichnet werden. Die A77V schießt zwölf Serienbilder pro Sekunde, die A65V ist mit zehn Bildern kaum langsamer. Ihr Autofokus stellt so schnell und kontinuierlich scharf, dass die Kameras auch bewegliche Motive messerscharf einfangen. Um die Kameras in solchen Momenten immer unter Kontrolle zu haben, wurde auch die Ergonomie überarbeitet: Ein spezielles Griff-Design und ein neues, blind beherrschbares Tasten-Ensemble halten die Kamera bei Höchstgeschwindigkeit immer auf Kurs. Besonders beeindruckend ist auch der weltweit erste elektronische XGA OLED-Sucher der jederzeit eine perfekte Sicht aufs ganze Motiv bietet.

Bilder lernen laufen: Videoaufnahme in Perfektion

Manchmal sagt ein Video mehr als 1000 Fotos - häufig verleihen erst Bewegungen und Ton einem Motiv seinen wahren Ausdruck. Den Besitzern einer NEX-5N, NEX-7, A65V und A77V stehen hierfür die besten Möglichkeiten zur Verfügung: Alle vier Kameras filmen in Full HD Auflösung (1920 x 1080 Pixel) und mit 50 "Vollbildern" in der Sekunde. Damit lässt sich absolut ruckelfrei und in brillanter Qualität filmen. Besonderer Clou: Die neuen Modelle können auch beim Filmen auf die neuen kreativen Funktionen des Fotomodus zugreifen, beispielsweise die Bildeffekte. Camcorder mit Hollywood-Ambitionen: NEX-VG20E von Sony

Mit der NEX-VG20E stellt sich den Film-Fans eine Handycam vor, die die hervorragende Ausstattung der NEX-Kameras mit der Raffinesse eines High-End-Camcorders kombiniert. Bildsensor, Bildverarbeitung und die Option der Wechseloptik sind der Fotowelt entlehnt. Die vielen manuellen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten, die Ergonomie und der brillante Ton aus dem Bereich der professionellen Videografie.

Die Nutzung von Wechseloptiken und die speziellen Cinema-Funktionen verleihen den selbst gedrehten Videos eine verblüffend echt wirkende Kino-Optik. Natürlich filmt auch die VG20E in der bestmöglichen Full HD Qualität mit 50 Vollbildern pro Sekunde. Komplettiert wird das Hollywood-Flair der Handycam durch ihr neues Mikrofon, das den Ton im 5.1 Surround-Format aufzeichnet.

Ultra-responsive shooting
The α77 boasts the world's fastest continuous AF shooting performance*, capturing a burst of full-resolution images at 12 frames per second with full-time phase-detection autofocus. The α65 achieves a similarly impressive 10fps shooting speed, outpacing virtually all semi-professional cameras.

Precision AF tracking of moving subjects is crisper and more responsive than ever, thanks to a newly-developed 19-point autofocus system with 11 cross sensors. (α65: 15-point AF with 3 cross sensors). Tracking Focus maintains accurate focus lock on a designated moving subject - even if the target's momentarily obscured by the motion of another object.

Razor-sharp responses are reinforced further by a new electronic front shutter curtain that achieves a pro-class minimum release time lag of approx. 0.050 seconds.

Unprecedented image quality and creative options
The α77 and α65 both feature a newly-developed Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor by Sony with 24.3 effective megapixel resolution.

The sensor is teamed with the latest revision of Sony's BIONZ image processing engine that handles huge amounts of high speed data from the camera sensor. This unique combination of sensor and BIONZ processor delivers unprecedented shooting responses, plus flawless image quality with ultra-low noise when shooting still images or Full HD video.

A broad sensitivity range of ISO 100-16000 is expandable (α77 only) down to ISO 50. At highest sensitivities, both digital cameras can freeze rapid sporting action with very quick shutter speeds, or capture atmospheric low-noise shots without flash. Low ISO settings are ideal when teamed with a long exposure for creating expressive shots of moving water.

Both cameras showcase the world's first XGA OLED Tru-Finder™. With an unprecedented 2359k dot (XGA) resolution, this precision electronic viewfinder offers a bright, detail-packed, high contrast image with 100% frame coverage that is 10 times higher than conventional electronic viewfinders and provides a wide field of view to rival pro-grade optical viewfinders.

Detailed shooting information is displayed with a choice of five display modes. The effects of adjusting exposure, white balance and other settings are previewed in the Tru-Finder™ in real time. Fine focus tweaks can also be confirmed via a zoomed-in portion of the image.

At the touch of a button, the Smart Teleconverter displays an enlarged central portion of the image sensor. This allows compositions to be displayed clearly on the high-resolution XGA OLED Tru-Finder™ and captured as 12 megapixel images with a digital zoom factor of 1.4x or 2x. There's no need to remove your eye from the Tru-Finder™ from composition to checking final results - allowing photographers to concentrate on their creative flow.

Stills and video can also be composed and reviewed on the adjustable-angle 7.5 cm (3.0" Xtra Fine LCD that offers high resolution (921k dot) and TruBlack technology for superb detail and contrast. As an extra refinement, the α77 introduces the world's first 3-way adjustable screen that tilts and pivots freely for effortless framing at any angle (α65: 2-way adjust LCD).

Full HD video
The α77 and α65 bring further refinements to the acclaimed Quick AF Full HD Movie shooting as already featured on previous Translucent Mirror Technology from Sony. Phase Detection maintains accurate focus during video shooting of portrait subjects, even when they're moving.

In another first for consumer-oriented APS-C cameras, Full HD video is now supported at 50p (progressive) frame rates - reflecting recent enhancements to the AVCHD (Ver. 2.0) format. 25p shooting is also available for beautifully ‘filmic' video footage. Creative video options are extended further by the addition of manual focusing and P/A/S/M exposure modes familiar to still photographers.

α77: Translucent Mirror Technology refined for photo enthusiasts
A natural successor to the enthusiast-oriented α700 DSLR, the α77 adds double control dials for intuitive fingertip operation and a separate top-mounted LCD data display. The durable body features magnesium alloy panels for strength and lightness. Key controls are sealed against the effects of dust and moisture, complementing similar levels of protection offered by the new SAL1650 lens, VG-C77AM Vertical Grip for α77 and HVL-F43AM flash unit.

Underlining the camera's rugged credentials, a new shutter unit is tested to 150,000 cycles and supports an ultra-fast minimum 1/8000 sec shutter speed (1/250 sec flash sync). On-board GPS allows automatic geotagging of photos and video clips with location data.

New DT 16-50mm F2.8 SSM zoom lens and accessories
The growing range of compatible A-mount lenses for both cameras now includes the quiet, bright DT 16-50mm F2.8 SSM standard zoom with 16mm wide angle coverage that's ideal for portrait and everyday shooting.

The high performance lens features a dust- and moisture-resistant design, and offers a zoom range of approximately 3x range at constant maximum aperture F2.8. Optical performance is assured by two aspherical elements and three ED glass elements to minimize aberration at all focal lengths. An internal SSM (Super Sonic wave Motor) drive assures fast, quiet autofocus.

Available as an option, the dust- and moisture-resistant VG-C77AM Vertical Grip assures comfortable handling in vertical shooting positions. It can house up to two NP-FM500H InfoLITHIUM batteries, doubling shooting stamina to approx. 1060 shots (via LCD monitor)/940 shots (via Tru-Finder™ when using Memory Stick PRO Duo™ media.

The compact yet versatile HVL-F43AM external flash is optimised for superb results with all A-mount cameras with a powerful output of GN43, Quick Shift Bounce adjustment, wireless ratio control and dust/moisture resistant design. Revised ergonomics on both cameras include a comfortably contoured new grip design and tactile new button layout for ‘eyes off' operation while viewing via the high-resolution XGA OLED Tru-Finder™ viewfinder.

The α77 adds front and rear control dials for intuitive fingertip operation and a separate top-mounted LCD data display. The durable body features magnesium alloy panels for strength and lightness. Key controls are sealed against the effects of dust and moisture, complementing similar levels of protection offered by the new SAL1650 lens, VG-C77AM Vertical Grip for α77 and HVL-F43AM flash unit.

A new shutter unit on the α77 is tested up to 150,000 cycles and supports an ultra-fast minimum 1/8000 sec shutter speed (1/250 sec flash sync). On-board GPS allows automatic geo-tagging of photos and video clips with location data.

New DT 16-50mm F2.8 SSM zoom lens and accessories

The growing range of compatible A-mount lenses for both cameras now includes the quiet, bright DT 16-50mm F2.8 SSM standard zoom with 16mm wide angle coverage that's ideal for both portrait and everyday shooting.

The high-performance lens features a dust- and moisture-resistant design, and offers a zoom range of approximately 3x range at constant wide F2.8 aperture. Optical performance is assured by aspherical glass and three ED (Extra Low Dispersion) lens elements to minimize aberration at all focal lengths. An internal Super Sonic wave Motor (SSM) drive enables fast, quiet autofocus.

An optional dust- and moisture-resistant VG-C77AM Vertical Grip for α77 assures comfortable handling in vertical shooting positions. It can house up to two NP-FM500H InfoLITHIUM® batteries, doubling shooting stamina up to approximately 1060 shots (via LCD monitor)/940 shots (via Tru-Finder™ viewfinder) when using Memory Stick PRO Duo™ media. Other new A-mount system accessories include a back pack (LCS-BP2), soft carrying cases (LCS-SC21 and LCS-SC8), LCD protectors and eyepiece cups.

The new α77 is compatible with Sony's Memory Stick PRO-HG™ DUO HX series as well as Sony's full line of SD memory cards. Available in capacities up to 32 GB, both media enable necessary transfer speeds for stable and optimal performance of Sony's hardware features, such as full HD movie shooting.


Pricing and Availability

The new α77 Translucent Mirror interchangeable lens camera will be available in a kit with the new SAL1650 f2.8 lens for about $2000, and offered as body-only for about $1400. The SAL1650 lens will also be sold separately for about $700.

The new VG-C77AM vertical grip, designed for the α77 camera, will be available in October for about $300.

The new α65 Translucent Mirror interchangeable lens camera will be available in a kit with a standard 18-55mm lens (SAL1855) for about $1000, and offered as body-only for about $900.
