I agree wholeheartedly with the start of this thread - it is too easy to forget the despair when Minolta announced that they were leaving.


In those first weeks, like many others I'm sure, I looked at my "investment" - financial and emotional - in my collection of much loved minolta glass and hated the idea of having to build up in another brand - and not just because of money.


But Sony saved our system - let's not forget it.


Yes we can all moan, as we always have, but at least we have compatible "stufff" with a future to it to moan about.


But perhaps it is even more fun to get excited by what we can be pretty sure is coming! - and fairly soon I bet.
